It bothers me greatly. Imagine instead of a carefully created trailer, a movie you’re excited to see is spoiled by someone showing random ten-second scenes from it.
But when has Wizards crafted a preview experience that has mirrored a well-crafted trailer? For the VAST majority of players, there’s literally no difference in experiences and they get the info faster to make more informed pre-order decisions. The very small percentage of highly invested players are still going to watch the debut video and retweet the cheesy content creator posts/videos just like always even if the entire set was already leaked.
At least it’s not a Marauders series. Can you imagine that discourse on top of all the anti-JKR stuff?
